Meet Your Neighbor: Yonatan Segura

"I was born in Mexico and my family and I immigrated here when I was just 2 years old. I actually haven’t been back there since we left 26 years ago, so when an opportunity came up to study abroad at the biggest university in Mexico, I knew I had to take advantage. But I can’t go there and then come back to the United States unless my DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival) renewal is in the system, so I came to QCH’s Immigration Program to get help.

"They provide such quality assistance, which is sometimes hard to find nowadays. They bring me peace of mind and you can tell they are looking for the best for you. They don’t care about profit; they care about the people.

"Without QCH’s services, I would have had to go back into hiding. Instead, this means another two years of pursuing my education to the fullest. I can keep studying at Hunter College and I can continue my dream of becoming a physical therapist."
