Twenty five years ago, I came to this country with my three daughters. I visited New York once before I moved here. As a visitor everything looks wonderful but when you move here with a family, it’s completely different. It took me three months to get us our own apartment.

As temperatures dropped to record lows this month, staff at Queens Community House’s (QCH) Senior Centers took extra steps to make sure their most vulnerable participants were protected.

This Saturday, Queens Community House will host the New York Floors Extreme (N.Y.F.E.) Dance Cypher at their Forest Hills Community Center. The competition, presented by Jaze-Art Remote, Chenzo, and The Breaks Kru, will draw participants from all over the city and the surrounding areas.
