Times Ledger: Cypher Dance - Caught in the Middle

Queens Community House in Forest Hills sponsors a cypher dance contest every year that attracts scores of performers from around the city.

One dancer performs at a time in the middle of a circle of the other dancers, pouring whatever is in his or her heart to the congregation.

Forest Hills Garden Blog: QCH to host NYFE dance competition

This Saturday, Queens Community House will host the New York Floors Extreme (N.Y.F.E.) Dance Cypher at their Forest Hills Community Center. The competition, presented by Jaze-Art Remote, Chenzo, and The Breaks Kru, will draw participants from all over the city and the surrounding areas.
