Meet Your Neighbor: JC Amorini

“I am really honored to come aboard as the new Assistant Director for the Queens Center for Gay Seniors. Throughout the past 18 years I have grown from a participant in queer youth programming to a peer educator and mentor and have spent the better part of the past 11 years immersing myself in social sciences and social and political theory. Queer programming and social organizing have played a large role in making me the person I am today, and I am excited at the opportunity to give back to my multiple communities in a way that speaks to my passions. When I’m not studying or working, you can find me watching true crime documentaries and new queer cinema with my cat (Apollo) and my partner (Andi).”
