Top Students of QCH Afterschool Program at JHS 217Q Compete in Soccer Tournament

At our afterschool programs for children in grades 6-8, we offer academic enrichment activities that are age appropriate, help participants learn new skills and improve academically, and are consistent with school-day learning activities. This year, our staff of the afterschool program at JHS 217Q worked with the school to engage students with JHS 217Q's inaugural Principal's Cup Soccer Tournament. As an incentive, top-achieving students (those with a GPA of 85 or above) were able to showcase their skills and school spirit, representing departments like Social Studies, Math, and Science in the exciting tournament for the past three months. A big congratulations goes out to the Social Studies team for taking home the championship trophy on May 15!
