Meet Your Neighbor: Eric Nesbitt

I was a year out of college and looking for a job that was LGBTQIA+ affirming and treated me like family. I came across Generation Q and knew this was the job for me. I have been working for Generation Q since September 2023 as an activity specialist and it has been a thrill. As the activity specialist, I get to create programming for our youth participants revolving around LGBTQIA+ topics while also having fun. Working here has been a breath of fresh air and fulfills me in ways that I did not know I needed. I am lucky to have a community and home being a part of Queens Community House since I walked through the door.
