Meet Your Neighbor: Jenny Pozo

"Since I was very young, I remember visiting my father at his first driving school on 82nd and Roosevelt Avenue back in the 80s. It was a second-floor office at the time. Thanks to the community and his perseverance, he achieved his goal of opening a store front, which is where we are to this today: 98-15 Roosevelt Avenue. I had the honor of taking over my father’s business in 1994 and have been a part of the Queens community, watching and participating in its evolution. We have since grown our business to service all neighboring boroughs, not only with driving school needs but insurance coverages and other services. When I came across Queens Community House, I knew immediately I wanted to do whatever I could to support them. I am grateful to have partnered with them and am looking forward to helping students obtain their driver’s license and growing my relationship with the organization by helping in any way I can."
