Meet Your Neighbor: Stancy Saji

"Queens has seen the evolution of my character over a period of time, and still never ceases to amaze or inspire me. In this borough, you can meet people from all around the world and experience different cuisines and cultures without even catching a flight. The stories, hustle, and color that come with Queens is why this borough is such a shining example of inclusivity and diversity, and why I'm proud to call this place home.

I currently work at LIJFH, Northwell's community hospital in Queens. We consistently work to support populations that face healthcare disparities. Through collaborations with community partners like QCH, the hospital offers workshops, health fairs, and free services tailored to everyone in our borough.

When I first learned about QCH, I was so impressed with the mission-driven approach to the work that they do. I knew that in my current role with Northwell, I wanted to establish a deeper relationship with the organization, especially since LIJFH is QCH's local community hospital and so close by!

We are proud to be a partner with QCH and support the work that they do with our time and expertise, as well as financially. They are truly making a difference in the every day lives of people and changing the landscape of our community in a positive and meaningful way."

- Stancy Saji, Program Manager for Government / Community Relations at LIJFH
