Meet Your Neighbor: Tiffany Nunez

"I am so excited for the launch of QCH’s newest program, The S.E.V.E.N. Family Enrichment Center (FEC) in Jackson Heights! You can find it between 87th St. and 88th St. on Northern Blvd., just a few blocks from our Beacon Community Center at PS 149Q. I grew up in the Jackson Heights area, so I take pride in serving the community as The S.E.V.E.N. FEC’s Program Director. S.E.V.E.N. stands for Socially Empowered, Vibrantly Engaged Neighborhood. This center embodies the shared vision of QCH and the Administration for Children’s Services—a vision rooted in empowering individuals and families with the resources, support, and community connections they need to build fulfilling, healthy, and inclusive lives right here in Queens. What’s key about this program is that it’s a community-led initiative, meaning we start by hearing directly from the community about the specific resources they need. We want to ensure that families are involved in shaping the services and programs that meet their needs. Together, QCH and ACS are dedicated to fostering environments where everyone in our community has the tools to thrive." —Tiffany Nunez, Program Director of QCH's The S.E.V.E.N. FEC
