Meet Your Neighbor: Paige Clapperton

“During COVID, I've had a harder time keeping myself motivated because a lot of the fun stuff my family was going to do got canceled, such as vacations.

It was so long ago that I first joined QCH, so my memory is a little fuzzy, but I believe my mom wanted me to get some after-school enrichment and decided to see what was around. She found AFYW and some of my friends were attending, so I decided to go.

What I like about AFYW is that the people running it are really taking into account how COVID has affected our community, and they are making an effort to unite the community that was at risk of falling apart. All people are welcome at QCH, which is a major factor in creating life-long bonds and making this past year one to remember.”
