Meet Your Neighbor: Christina Edmunds

"In 1997, I applied for the Summer Youth Employment Program and was placed in QCH's Neighborhood Intergenerational Chore and Errand program. Nine years later, I applied for the secretary position at their Pomonok Community Center. Now, after ten years, I work as the Director of Administrative Services.

“At QCH, I have grown professionally and personally, learning not only about the work we do but about myself. How it matters to me that I get to connect with people from all walks of life, no matter their age or cultural background. How being around like-minded individuals in the business of helping others is in line with my personal values. I am grateful to have been given so many opportunities at QCH and I’m grateful to be here as we continue to expand and do more good works."
