QCH Participants Eleanor & Fumiko Star in New Music Video

On October 11, Queens Community House partnered with local musician Pam Reyes to host a National Coming Out Day celebration that was beaming with pride!

The event took place a Sanger Hall in Sunnyside, Queens and included a debut of Pam's documentary-style music video “New Name,” which features two of our Queens Center for Gay Seniors members, Eleanor and Fumiko.

The night kicked off with an open mic for guests, followed by a live performance by Pam Reyes and her band.

The evening's last act was a screening of Pam Reyes’ new music video, "New Name," which was made possible by the Queens Arts Council through the Queens Arts Fund New Works Grant.
