Spring Event 2021 - Celebrating Local Champions Reception
Join us on May 19, 2021 at 6PM for our annual Celebrating Local Champions Reception via Zoom. Every year, neighbors gather for this fun event to stay connected with the community. It is also an opportunity to recognize those who contribute to our community’s continued growth. This Spring, we will honor Mike Luba of Madison House Presents for contributions to the community. We will also give out the 2021 Irma Rodriguez Queens Community Builder Award.
The evening will also feature a dynamic and fun cooking experience with participants of QCH’s Young Adult Food Sector Employment Initiative. Register here today!
The virtual event is free. However, donations to support the event will benefit thousands of children, youth, adults and older adults in Forest Hills/Rego Park and throughout Queens.
- Chef: $500 – Provides hot meals to 5 home bound seniors for 6 months *
- Cook: $250 – Supports meals for twenty five families at the pantry *
- Apprentice: $100 – Supports food kits for three students
*includes a surprise tasty gift prepared by junior chefs :-)
