2017 Celebrating Local Champions

Thank you for making our Annual Local Champions Reception so successful!

This year was a RECORD BREAKING YEAR: we raised more donations than we ever have in years past. We know your support, attendance, and generosity made our annual event so successful. It was an honor for us to present the Local Champion award to Leslie Brown, President of the Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce. We were also excited to have Deputy Borough President, Melva Miller, in attendance and presenting the Citation of Honor to Leslie, for her work in Forest Hills. We also presented the 2017 Community Builder Award to, Lester Lin, Founder of City Mission. Chef Maria Pretridis from Maria's Mediterranean Seafood & Grill Restaurant (and CHOPPED award winner) helped us finish off the evening by providing us with delicious desserts as a special donation.
