Helping Families Stay Housed during COVID-19

In the midst of the COVID19 outbreak, we are doing everything we can to keep our staff, participants and volunteers safe while maintaining vital supports for some of our most vulnerable neighbors.

Through Queens Community House's Housing and Homelessness Prevention Services, our participants receive extensive ongoing case management and frequent check-ins from case workers to ensure retention of housing and financial stability.

Eviction prevention support provides targeted assistance to individuals and families experiencing challenges that threaten housing stability. Participants facing rent or utility arrears, unexpected medical costs, and other urgent family needs may be helped directly through QCH programming or be linked to an appropriate social service.
