To help older adults in the Queens Community avoid identity theft and fraud, we welcomed M&T Bank at the Pomonok Older Adult Center to provide a financial literacy workshop on March 10. Pomonok residents gained valuable tips on preventing identity theft and warning signs.

On March 4, I.S. 145 welcomed QCH to its Immigrant Family Resource Fair in Jackson Heights. The fair was organized by I.S. 145 with support from State Senator Jessica Ramos and Assemblymember Jessica Gonzalez-Rojas.

As part of QCH's ongoing commitment to building intergenerational relationships within the Queens community, we hosted our first-ever intergenerational table tennis competition at the Forest Hills Community Center on February 22.
Our Beacon Community Center at PS 149 offers a balanced mix of high-quality educational, recreational, and cultural activities to students. In February, they celebrated the Lunar New Year and Black History Month through art.
QCH offers an array of activities that promote good mental and physical health for our neighbors. On February 6, we started our Family Fun Salsa Class at the Forest Hills Community Center (108-25 62nd Drive).
About 400 Queens residents gathered to celebrate the Lunar New Year at our older adult center. The events were held at QCH’s Rego Park Older Adult Center, Pomonok Older Adult Center, and Forest Hills Older Adult Center.
