Community Matters: September 2025

Our newest issue of Community Matters is live — and it’s full of heart, community, and inspiration. Highlights include:

• QCGS at the UN — QCH Queens Center for Gay Seniors and DanceStream Projects partnered to present “Let’s Move the World” during the UN Healing Arts Week. The performance celebrated resilience, connection, and intergenerational expression on a global stage.
• Rego Park OAC celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month — A festive gathering of music, dance, foods, and community stories brought culture to life.
• "50 for 50" Spotlight: Alma Reyes — Her journey embodies the energy and commitment that fuels QCH.
