Turner Construction Company Hosts Panel for Access For Young Women Program

On April 23, future Queens leaders from our Access For Young Women program took a trip to Turner Construction Company’s Manhattan headquarters for an enriching panel discussion. AFYW participants were able to hear from women with successful careers in corporate construction and get advice on next steps as they think about their future. Queens neighbors, show your support for the young women of AFYW at the 25th Annual Youth Leadership Conference, happening on May 18 11am-5pm at the Forest Hills Community Center (108-25 62nd Drive)! AFYW participants spend nine months preparing for this event. Spend the day with them and engage in youth-led workshops, performances, community improvement projects, and more!
