2023 Spring Event - Celebrating Local Heroes
Please join Queens Community House for its Celebrating Local Heroes Reception at the Forest Hills Stadium on May 24 at 6pm.
At this spectacular venue, neighbors and community stakeholders will get an opportunity to meet for an engaging and fun evening on an iconic stage that was once welcome music legends like Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, The Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan while honoring two of Queens' trailblazers.
There will be a cocktail reception, silent auction and unique raffles. This is a chance to connect with other mission-driven stakeholders and experience the historic Forest Hills Stadium like never before.
Tickets to support the event will benefit thousands of children, youth, adults and older adults in Forest Hills/Rego Park and throughout Queens.
- Rockstar: $500 – Could support musical enrichment activities for over 50 students our Beacon programs *
- Band: $250 – Could support musical performances for five older adults from one of our older adult centers *
- Opening Act: $125 – Can provide music kits to 3 children in our Building Beats program
*includes a playlist curated by our after-school music program :-)
This event will support community members throughout Queens.
