Queens Community House to host New York Floors Extreme Dance Cypher on January 20

Forest Hills, Queens (January 16, 2018) - Queens Community House is pleased to host New York Floors Extreme (N.Y.F.E.) Dance Cypher this Saturday at their Forest Hills Community Center. The competition is presented by Jaze-Art Remote, Chenzo, and The Breaks Kru. The competition will draw participants from all over New York City and the surrounding areas, and is open to the public.

What: Queens Community House hosts New York Floors Extreme Dance Cypher - An open competition that is expected to draw 100-200 competitors and spectators from across the Tri-State area. Participants will compete in breaking, house, popping and locking battles, with winners taking home $200 cash prize in each category. All ages are welcome to compete or spectate. Admission is free; competitors pay $15 to battle.
When: January 20, 2018 from 3pm to 8pm (Top 8 compete at 6pm)

Many of the local break dancers, or b-boys and girls, train at the Queens Community House’s open practices on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday nights.
